Singapore Fertility Subsidy

The Singapore government also has a co-founding Scheme for Assisted Conception Procedures at Public Hospitals. Eligible couples undergoing Assisted Conception Procedures (ACPs) in public Assisted Reproduction (AR) centres can receive up to 75% in co-funding from the government. For more information, visit the Ministry of Health Singapore’s website.

To help couples better afford the cost of treatment for Assisted Conception Procedures (ACP), a couple may withdraw $6,000 for the first cycle, $5,000 for the second cycle and $4,000 for the third and subsequent cycles from the patient’s or the patient’s spouse’s MediSave. A lifetime Medisave withdrawal limit of $15,000 per patient for ACP applies.

The co-funding scheme covers:

  • The co-funding scheme covers: Up to three fresh and three frozen Assisted Reproduction Technology (ART) cycles. Treatment options include in-vitro fertilisation (IVF) and its variations, as well as gamete intra-fallopian transfer (GIFT)
  • Up to three Intra-Uterine Insemination (IUI) cycles

Eligibility requirements:

  • You or your spouse must be a Singapore citizen
  • You are below 40 years of age at the start of each treatment cycle (with an exception of the last two cycles of ART for couples who began ART/IUI treatments before reaching 40 years)
  • You undergo the procedures at public Assisted Reproduction centres (KKH, NUH, and SGH)
